When our friends at Aumann Auctions came to us with an ambitious idea, we knew we had our work cut out for us. Aumann Auctions is a global auction leader in the antique tractor world. Their team is passionate about preserving the history and legacy of these machines, as well as inspiring and empowering the next generation of collectors. They wanted to create an online community for antique tractor collectors and enthusiasts. It needed to provide valuable resources, useful features, and a home for their ever-growing library of original content and video programming. Our team then got to work with custom developed solutions to handle the unique functionalities of the site, with a UX design that bring all of the website features together in an intuitive user experience.

Preserving the History of Old Iron

The flagship feature of the site is a custom-built research database that contains searchable, filterable data and images for thousands of tractor makes and models dating back to the steam-powered workhorses of the 19th century. We also developed a registry where collectors can add their collection or search for specific models and serials numbers.

We then added a social media style community platform, complete with a news feed, user profiles, and and interest based groups where fellow enthusiasts can connect with each other.

Additional features include a video hub for their Old Iron Adventures Episodes and Old Iron Talk Podcast, a Marketplace for classified listings, News Articles, and an E-Commerce Store for Books and Merchandise.
