Twas the Night
Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the suite,
Not a worker was working, a much-needed retreat;
The team reminisced on the years that had past,
Of trends, memories, and milestones surpassed.

They remembered the year two thousand and nine,
when the business began during social media’s climb.

The next year saw many new websites deployed,
designs so stellar that none could avoid.

And then all of a sudden QR codes arrived,
with their puzzling pixels of various size.

Soon all of the websites needed updates,
with SEO keywords to boost traffic rates.

The following year videos branched out from Vine,
the jokes and the smiles were brought by design.

People of all walks shivered on screen,
with The Ice Bucket Challenge of 2014.

Millennials soon rose and took center stage,
with the buying power to change the digital age.

All of these memories seemed so worthwhile,
until a random new trend sent bottles flipping with style.

With snowflakes swirling around in their sight,
Visions of live-streamers streamed through the night.

The following year brought another surprise,
when the words of chatbots tried to be wise.

But there was no time to dwell on these novel-new techs,
before TikTok dancers soon popped in their heads.

BOOM… CRASH… a commotion, the pandemic did loom;
the world dimmed down darkly and all hopped on Zoom.

Once inside and online, their information was tracked,
until third party cookies crumbled… then cracked.

Now, nearing the present, past struggles grew slight,
As metaverses shimmered, glowing with light.

Soon AI relieved us from laborious tasks,
like a gift from St. Nick for all that one asks.

After reflecting on memories of their 15-year span,
they looked to the future and what it had in their plan.

Then with hearts full of cheer, they shut down the lights…

“Merry Christmas to All, and to All a Goodnight!”
